Offline-first, and your data stays yours

Runs offline, syncs cheap

The full study config is cached on-device, so occurrences and local notifications are computed on the phone — schedules fire with no signal. Sync is a single ETag-gated call that's a no-op when nothing changed.

Your data, your storage

Only metadata lives in your database. Every event payload uploads directly to your own S3-compatible object storage in gzipped batches, reachable only through short-lived presigned URLs. Buckets are never public.

Questions, answered honestly

Do participants need accounts or passwords?

No — they enroll by scanning a one-time QR code, and the device holds its own credentials. Nothing to manage or reset.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The full study config is cached on-device, so occurrences and notifications are computed on the phone and fire with no signal. Data syncs opportunistically.

Where is my data stored?

Metadata lives in a database you control; all event data lives in your own S3-compatible object storage, reachable only via short-lived presigned URLs. Buckets are never public.

Can I export my data?

Yes — a long-format CSV with one row per answer or sensor reading, or a ZIP preserving the original object structure. Ready for R, Python or a warehouse.

What about consent and GDPR?

Versioned e-consent re-gates every participant on publish, a deletion-request workflow revokes a subject's devices on completion, and a full audit log records every action.

Can I bring my own questionnaire or activity?

What languages are supported?
